That's just converting it from months to years. The converter is for a life-span converter. Like for dog years, it's multiplied by 6 or 7 or whatever, so 1 year in humans years would be 6 or 7 years in dog years. That's all this is doing, but for cats. Not converting it from months to years, but comparing the life span of a cat to that of a human.
If that makes sense...
