Here is a list of rules specifically for Leaders and Deputies!
1.
All leaders must recruit at least two times a week [Preferably more!] This helps keep the roleplay alive and growing!
2.
It is required that the Leaders attend the Gathering Ceremony, unless if the leader is in labor, very ill, plot-related incidents, [Or, cannot get online at the given moment due to personal circumstances] Should this event happen, the Clan Deputy is to go in his/her spot to speak for the clan.
3.
Leaders are to travel to the Moonpool to share dreams with StarClan in order to recieve their nine lives and 'star' suffix within one real-life day after they earn the rank.
4.
At the age of ninety moons, Leaders must retire to the Elders' den.
5.
If the Clan's Deputy dies, the Leader must elect a new Deputy before moonhigh.
6.
Leaders cannot form a truce with another Clan to drive out another Clan.
[Unless current plot states otherwise.]
7.
The over-all safety of the Clan is more important than a single cat's life. Make the best decisions possible for your Clan, no matter how difficult it may seem.
8.
Leaders must choose an appropriate Deputy, and cannot offer the rank to a cat just because he/she is a friend. This chosen Deputy will be the next Clan Leader, so choose wisely.
9.
After retirement, a Leader must sacrifice their remaining nine lives to StarClan, and hereby live out the rest of their days with only a single life.
10.
Leaders can be exiled by the Clan if he/she is deemed unfit to rule by StarClan.
11.
This, by far may seem the most harsh.
If a leader breaks the rules, may be taken from their position, or worse, depending on the circumstances.
But this is ONLY for the most extreme cases!
1.
The selected Deputy must have been a warrior [Older than 12 moons] And have trained at least one Apprentice.
2.
Deputies are to assist Leader's in their tasks, they are considered the Leader's Apprentice.
3.
As Deputies were former Warriors, they are still expected to carry out Warrior tasks [Hunting, Border Patrols, etc]
4.
Occasionally, Deputies may organize Warrior training sessions in order to help the Warriors keep their skills sharp.
5.
Deputies will become the new Leader after the Leader retires or passes away.
6.
Deputies have the ability to organize border patrols and hunting trips.
7.
If the Deputy is unavailable for a period of time, the senior Warriors are to distribute the Deputy's tasks between them.
8.
If the current Leader is unable to lead the Clan due to kitting or a sickness, the Deputy is to cover both spots [Leader & Deputy] For the time being until the Leader is healthy again.
9.
A Queen nursing kits may not become Deputy until their kits are able to leave the Nursery [Become Apprentices at 6 moons.]
10.
Once the Leader dies/retires, they are to travel with the Medicine Cat to the Moonpool within one real-life day to earn their nine lives and 'star'.
These rules do not apply to any cats outside of the Leader/Deputy ranks. Medicine Cat rules and Clan rules will be posted in the Rules board. For over-all Roleplay rules, check out Bαlтнαzαr's post!
